Today’s question may need a little defining. What does respect mean to you? How have experiences in your life affected your definition of respect? Maybe a parent, a spiritual encounter, or a coach played a significant role in your understanding of respect.
According to the dictionary, respect is having and expressing a deep admiration for someone. Who do you respect? Why is a person worthy of your respect? Often times when reading, we skim through questions, but I want to invite you to think about the people you truly respect and why. Have you given your children or spouse a reason to respect you? As you think through question six, consider how you can earn the respect of your family.
